The same people that load the truck should always be involved in unloading it because they know just where all the fragile items have been placed in the load. They will also be aware of any ‘booby traps’ of goods that could fall and break if not correctly removed from the stack.
As goods are removed from the stacked load, they are moved to the side or back door of the truck where helpers grab them and carry or dolly them into the destination.
- Don’t put things on the lawn if you can help it so that dirt damage can be avoided.
- Be sure to use enough people to most easily move each big piece without damaging it.
