How to use a humpstrap when moving

Below is a picture of a brand new humpstrap.

This marvelous invention has been used by professional movers for many, many years to help carry boxes, heavy furniture and very heavy, delicate pianos as shown in the picture below.

Above is shown how the humpstrap is used to more easily move a piano.

Above is pictured how one mover might carry a large furniture piece with a humpstrap. The strap ties the piece to the movers back so that he can carry it with mostly his strong hip and leg muscles.

Above is pictured a large furniture piece being carried by 2 men with the top man using the humpstrap to lift its bottom while he remains comfortably in an upright position.

Above are pictured 2 movers, each carrying 4 boxes at once, using the humpstrap. In this manner, they carriy double the load they could carry in front of them and they can better see their move paths.

Above is shown 2 men carrying a large box full of items with the top man using the humpstrap so that he doesn’t need to bend over to help carry it.

Above is shown the humpstrap under a dolly with a piano on top of it. The humpstrap is used to guide the dollied load and to lift it over a curb.

If you look closely at the arm of the top man in the picture above, you will see that he is using the humpstrap to lift the bottom of this large upright piano (800#) to carry it down these stairs

Above is pictured the use of the humpstrap to guide and pull this small upright piano up a ramp onto a truck.

Above is pictured the use of the humpstrap to help lift this piano up these stairs keeping the dolly underneath it to absorb scuffing and for easy placement upon the landing.

Above is shown how the strap is wrapped around both of the mover’s arms as he prepares to carry the piano up the stairs.

Above is a good underneath picture of a mover carrying the dollied piano up the stairs. Notice how he is able to remain upright as he does this.

Here’s another underneath shot of the piano being humpstrapped up the stairs with the bottom man shown.

Above is a picture of a piano just about to be lifted onto the landing using the humpstrap.
