Items such as televisions, radios, camcorders, CD / DVD devices, microwaves, stereo components, home theater, etc. all fall into the electronics category. All of these kinds of electronic goods should be thoroughly blanket-padded or packed well in bunched-up packing paper (newsprint will leave difficult to remove ink stains on the surfaces of these items and bubble wrap can generate static discharges that ruin these things).
Then box them up (in their original styrofoam and box, if possible) for moving. If you box them in other boxes than the originals, be sure that all knobs are well-protected with padding.
Loose small electronic accessories such as garage door openers, channel changers, headphones, wiring, chargers, etc. should be all packed into 1 or 2 boxes so that it is easy to find them right away at your new residence. Don’t just throw them in any box with other loose stuff because they’ll be hard to locate later and they may get broken by other heavy items in the box.
These electronic gadgets also should be placed in your car, if possible. If any of them get lost or are broken, they will difficult to fix or replace.
